Nabadiganta Tapassya Foundation conduct an annual cloth distribution drive during November-December timeframe. Tapassya is doing this program from its inception. In this program old but in good condition cloths are collected from different corporate house like TCS, Ericsson from their employees and then distributed with help of different NGOs working at the edge of rural areas. Tapassya also raise funds and purchase new cloths like sarees, lungi and winter blankets to add on this. So far distribution conducted in Purulia, West Midnapur Jangal Mahal, Jharkhand, Sagardwip & Sunderban for around 100 villages. The collections also used heavily in many disaster relief like Yaas, Amphan. The sorting and distribution operation is supported by Belgharia Ramkrishna Mission and Karkai Ashram.
